X COM: Enemy Unknown
Patch 3 is eindelijk uit
Ook nog een tof interview met Solomon op pcgamerXCOM: Enemy Unknown 3rd Patch is now live
The 3rd Patch for XCOM: Enemy Unknown is now live for all systems. The Second Wave addition is now available for those who have beaten the game. And a few bugs have been squashed including the AI teleport bug and the defeat screen when beating the game.
For those on PC, the Chris Kluwe hero unlock is now available. Chris beat Firaxis' Garth DeAngelis in a head to head match and won. His prize was being added to the game as a playable character.
Patch 3 Notes
Second Wave addition
If a player has beaten the game, they can access a variety of gameplay toggles upon starting a new game. The Second Wave option will be available on the New Game menu.
AI teleport bug fix
Minimizes the bug where aliens teleport into the middle of a player’s squad
Defeat screen when beating the game
Minimizes a bug that displays a Defeat screen after winning the game

Zot goed spel, moet zeggen dak efjes een "cooldown" period nodig had na mijn eerste playthrough (bijna 5 dagen nonstop aan 1 stuk gespeeld
), maar ben nu aan het denken om eens een ironman te beginnen, misschien op impossible (heb het midden in mijn eerste playthrough op classic gezet). Ben alleen bang dak redelijk snel ga falen met de panic reduction.

Impossible raad'k u af, standaard classic is al vrij uitdagend als je van normal komt ma nu met de patch kunt ge een paar modifiers aanzetten die het heel wat onvoorspelbaarder maken
Damage Roulette + Not Created Equally = constante paranoia
zelf bezig met een Classic Ironman en de eerste 4 modifiers aan en het is echt zot komen soms

Hehe, ik heb niets tegen zot moeilijk als het strategisch blijft, de "Ironman Impossible" serie op youtube door Beaglerush is ook redelijk fun om te kijken

Enige waar ik wel iets op tegen heb, dat is als de aliens zotte cheat-powers zouden krijgen

heb vandaag nog's 2x de teleport bug gehad, gelukkig heb ik momenteel een fantastische Assault met reaction shots up the wazoo
paar keer ook al een crit geslikt terwijl'k Hunkered Down cover had etc, shit is still a bit buggy, ma gelukkig word'r aan gewerkt

Jake Solomon: No, this will be the third patch, we’ve patched three times I think. I hope that people know that Firaxis has a long commitment to our products. People shouldn’t worry on that front because we are definitely committed to our products. I guess the only thing I can point to is Civ, but to take heart that we stay involved with those products for a very, very long time after their release.
