    Zombie survival op een tropisch eiland.

    A tropical island turns into total chaos after a mysterious zombie outbreak. Cut off from the rest of the world, the player’s only chance to survive is to fight to the death and find a way to escape from the island.

    Set in an open world tropical island, hordes of different festering zombies await players around every corner while they embark on a variety of thrilling missions through the holiday resort. With firearms and ammunition being scarce the player must rely on utilising found items as weapons for self-defence and fight off zombie hordes in intense melee combat. A diverse range of items can be collected and will later serve to transform the player’s ordinary makeshift weapons into serious instruments of destruction.

    TVGB: The Multi Layer damage system looks truly amazing. Will the transformation occur in real time as, say, you are bludgeoning an enemy zombie to dead with a blunt instrument? Or is it more of an iterative process of the zombies decaying over time? And how often is the player actually really close enough to witness the gory details up close and personal?

    BK: All the transformations are calculated in real time, with per vertex accuracy. This is the revolutionary part of our damage system. It is possible to pre-script several ways of gradual decay and make it look convincing but we wanted more. All damage occurs exactly when and where the model is hit by a specific object. Sharp and blunt weapons cause different types of injuries, just like in the real world. Players will get plenty of opportunities to admire all those effects from the front row. Melee combat is important throughout the entire game and we’re adding a lot of features to make sure it never gets boring: new fighting moves, deadlier foes and other attractions that will be revealed in due time.

    Werd weer eens tijd dat ze wat van deze game laten horen 2007 was voor het eerst de aankondiging toen was ik behoorlijk enthousiast. Door de jaren heen veel minder maar nu weer door de screens en de CGI trailer zeg ik wow

    Absoluut. 't Is al heel lang geleden dat een trailer me nog eens warm kan maken voor een aankomende game, maar deze is echt goed. Dat 3 noten piano melodietje maak het af.
