So like anyone who has nothing better to do on a Sunday night before class, I just surf the web and check on the latest news (world, gaming or what ever else you do). While I was checking on my esports news I stumbled upon some of the IEM European qualifiers that have been going on (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and etc.) and eventually was lead to this page on the Intel Extreme Masters site.
ESL World: EU SC2 National Qualifiers - Season V - Intel Extreme Masters - Electronic Sports League
It has the list of all the players that have qualified for the European Championship and it also says which one of them have to go through qualifying rounds before getting into the EU Championship. So I'll just go ahead and list them here.

Please note that I might have some of the flags or race wrong. Chances are I forgot a player as well. If you see a mistake don't panic just post it and I'll fix it when I wake up. About the race, I do not know all of these players but I found out about most of them through GosuGamers and the ESL replays of them.
I do not work for ESL but since I opened this thread I might as well help out if anyone has trouble understanding anything. Some of you might probably wonder WTF the qualification rounds are for. Basically, due to the skill level between some of these countries ("rankings"), they presume that for some players it's much easier to qualify then others. So they give out less slots and also make them work harder to get in to the European Championship, which is where they want to be.
WTF is qualification round 1+2?

ESL World: EU SC2 National Qualifiers - Season V - Intel Extreme Masters - Electronic Sports League
- The Qualification Round 1 is the first round for international competition. The national representants are decided through National Cups and as they go in to the Qualification Round 1 (QR1), everything is at stake to first move on to QR2, and the goal: the European Championship.
- The last battle that 24 players take on is the Qualification Round 2. Half of them are known from the National Ranking, while the other eighteen comes from QR1. Winners here head in to the European Championship of Intel Extreme Masters season 5.
The European Championship will work similar to the American one. Players will go through best-of-3 round robin group stages. Top player advances to the European Championship LAN finals. I think they make #2 play against #3 from a different group to determine who else goes I kinda forgot about this part.

Why were so many Terrans invited?
They were not invited. They qualified.
Why are there so many Terrans?
I don't know and I don't care.
Terrans?
NO!
I count 6 zergs. You made a mistake, there must be more?
-_-" No. Well maybe.
MorroW already qualified for the global finals, why is he there?
Money, sex and glory.
No TLO? WHAT!
He did not play in the qualifiers.
Why no Koreans?
It's the Intel Extreme Master European Championship. You figure it out.
The first thread I have ever created on TL.net. Hopefully it's a good one and I look forward to contributing more to this community.
