As you might already have noticed, we have a new banner.

24 or less teams:
Groupstage with 4 groups. Top2 of each group proceeds to double elimination playoffs.
25-48 teams:
Groupstage with 8 groups. Top2 of each group proceeds to double elimination playoffs.
49-96 teams:
Groupstage with 16 groups. Top1 of each group proceeds to double elimination playoffs.

2.1 - The tourney
2on2 - Time limit 20 minutes.
2.2 - Mapcycle




All games are played as best out of three. Except for the grand final, the team coming from the ub needs to win 1xbo3, while the team coming from the lb needs to win 2xbo3 in order to win the cup.
Each team pick their map (they're allowed to pick the same map), in case that a decider is needed, it'll be found via. map elimination of the remaining maps. The team with the highest fragnet gets to pick who eliminates first.
When one map is left that map will be played.

4.0 - Match media
4.1 - Screenshots
A screenshot of the scoreboard is required after each map is played. Missing screenshots leads to the assumption of a so called "fake-match", a match that never took place. Screenshots is to be saved until the tourneys winner has been found.
5.1 - Demos
Demos of each game are demanded for all players. The demos are to be saved until the tourneys winner has been found. If a player breaks the rules during a game, the demo is to be delivered to the opponent, after request. If there's still any suspicion after the demo has been watched, the admin shall be contacted and the admin will take appropriate action.
6.1 - Delays
15 minutes after match start, both teams must have found a fair server both agrees to play on. If the teams are unable to do so, an admin should be contacted, and he will decide which server is the fairest. If both teams agree, no admin login/password is demanded for the server.
7.1 - Technical problems
If a player drops from the server, the server needs to be paused immediately. Then the player has 10 minutes to join the game again, otherwise the team loses the match.
The game can, after agreement between both teams, be restarted at the same score and time there were left when the player dropped from the server.
8.1 - Noshow
If a team fails to field both their players until 15 minutes after matchstart, they'll automatically recieve a defaultloss. (both players must be in present in
#UnrealNorth)
9.1 - Overtime
If the game is tied when the time limit is reached, then there's played into 5 minutes overtime, until the match is decided.
10.1 - Cheat
It's not allowed to use external applications to get an unfair advantage over the opponent.

If two teams can't agree, they should both contact an admin.
