    AQ questchain

Als er guilds zijn die aan AQ questchain bezig zijn, hier is onze progress, kan misschien helpen. ( Mijn post van www.thelastwatch.org/forums gewoon naar hier gekopieerd )

Turalyon – The Last Watch – The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj are Opening...

This post details our current progress on opening the gates of Ahn’Qiraj on the Turalyon. So far, the war effort is progressing satisfactorily and we've done quite a lot of the quests for the blue and green fragments of the scepter. The rest will be done soon!

With patch 1.9 being applied, the two major quests to open the gates of Ahn’Qiraj were activated. These two quest both need to be complete for the world event of the gate opening to occur.

    Quest 1: The war effort

As you probablly all know, the alliance and horde are working together to assemble great armies, to be used in the upcoming war against the Silithid and Qiraji. These enemy races have been imprisoned in the city of Ahn’Qiraj ever since the city itself was sealed with a magical barrier by the combined efforts of Anachronos of the Brood of Nozdormu, the other dragonflights, and Archdruid Fandral Staghelm and the Quel'dorei. The complete history about Ahn’Qiraj can be studied here.

In order to build up this army we need various items. We need bandages, meat, fish, herbs, metal bars and leather to craft armor, potions, food and other supplies for this army. The current official status on the gathering of all the materials can be viewed here.

Quest 2: Creation of the scepter

The gates can only be opened with the Scepter of the Shifting Sands. The quest started with the killing of Broodlord in Blackwing Liar. His head, who was looted by Madden, made him 'The One'

Quest: The Hand of the Righteous

This was the quest where Madden had to reach Neutral reputation with Brood of Nozdormu. To do this, we had to grind 42000 Silithid Carapace Framents in order to let Madden raise his reputation. With every 200 Fragments, as part of the quest, Madden recieved an item with which he could deputise someone who could then also pick up fragments (smells like a pyramid-scheme!).

With the help of the following guilds, we managed to do this by monday this week. Thank you guys, we couldn't have done it without you!

    AG Praetorian guards
    Guardians of the Light
    Magnae Mammae
    TheCoreWithin
    The Confedracy
    Wasted
... and many others from various guilds

After hitting neutral, Madden triggered a world event showing us the history of the closing of the gates. (A video can be watched here) After that was complete, Madden went to speak with Anachronos the Ancient, who dwells at the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. He told us the scepter had been shatterted into 4 pieces, which where divided between the four dragonflights: The Green, the Red, the Blue and the Bronze. Anachronos himself kept the bronze piece, which he was was, thankfully, willing to give to Madden. The rest of the quest is to get the other three pieces of the scepter: Blue, Green and Red.

Quest: The Charge of the Dragonflights (three parallel paths, each of which must be completed)

    The Blue Flight

This part of the scepter was entrusted to the blue dragon Azuregos, who was much more interested in wandering around Azshara than guarding powerful artifacts, so gave it to a minnow called Maws. The fish can be lured by creating a Arcanite Buoy, and for this we had to go talk to a gnome called Narain Soothfancy, who tells us we need to retrieve three things in order for him to help us to create it:

    1) The Goggles
The goggles can be found in Molten Core and are dropped by Corehounds. We're waiting on an MC reset to farm these
    2) The Chicken
On the Isle of Dread lives a giant Chimaerok called Lord Lakmaeron, whose carcass apparently looks like a 500 pound chicken. Who knew?!
    3) The Book: Draconic for Dummies (to translate the schematics for the Buoy)
After some good old roleplaying, we had to kill a man named Doctor Weavil, who apparently, in frustration, scattered the pages of the book around the world. The different chapter will be found at:

    Doctor Weavil - got
    Stormwind - got
    Undercity - got
    Blackwing Lair - got
Tainted Scar - still to get
    Winterspring - still to get
Onyxia's Lair - still to get
Molten Core - still to get (off Ragnaros)

    The Green Flight

This part of the scepter was entrusted to Eranikus, who as we all know has gone a bit off the rails recently, having been corrupted by the Nightmare in the Emerald dream and all. After finding his shade in the Sunken Temple, Malfurion Stormrage informed us that, we will need to summon Eranikus to Moonglade and redeem him in order to retrieve his part of the scepter. In order to summon him, we need to collect four Fragments of the Nightmare's Corruption from the dragonkin which surround the four Portals to the Emerald Dream. We have so far collected three of them:

Duskwood: Off the raid boss called the Twilight Corruptor - got
Hinterlands: Off the Verdantine Dragonkin - got
Feralas: Off the Jademir Dragonkin - got
Ashenvale: Off the Emeraldine Dragonkin - not yet got because they respawn so slowly

    The Red Flight

This fragment of the scepter was entrusted to the red dragon Vaelastrasz, a champion of the Red Flight. Unfortunately, as many of you know, he unwisely decided recently to pit himself against Nefarian in Blackwing lair, and has been corrupted by Nefarian. In an amazing quirk of timing, after carefully guarding the scepter fragment for a thousand years, he has now lost it to Nefarian, who plans to destroy it within exactly five hours of the next time we talk to Vaelastrasz in Blackwing lair. What this means in practice is that we get a timed quest for which we have to complete a timed BWL run within five hours from Vael to killing Nef to getting back to Anachronos in Tanaris. Could be tricky but we can probably manage it barring server crashes or other misfortunes.

Once all these quests are completed, the gates will be ready to be opened as soon as the war effort is complete...

bij die ramp die omhoog gaat staat een zuil. Zorg dat iedereen achter die zuil staat (uit LOS ) en dat de tank tegen de rand van die ramp staat. Zo kant de MT gehealed worden en zijn de healers uit LOS van de boss.
