    Over een paar weken komt 3.1 uit. Daarna gaan ze beginnen met Natural Selection: Source.

    Eerst gaan ze gewoon de basis porten en daarna gaan ze models, textures etc updaten.
    Computer Games - Will this be the final version of the mod for the original Half-Life?

    Charlie Cleveland - No. We're planning on releasing v3.1 in another four to six weeks, which will have an exciting new system that we've been working for quite some time. We're not ready to announce the details of this system yet, but we think players will be excited when they see it. NS 3.1 will also include balance changes that arise after 3.0 and possibly a few new maps (including one from Merkaba, of ns_hera fame).

    Computer Games - Are there any plans to port the original Natural Selection mod to Half-Life 2/Source?

    Charlie Cleveland - We haven't spent much time with the SDK yet (been too busy with current NS development), but we've started to talk about NS:Source. We're probably going to start porting it shortly after 3.0/3.1. Instead of taking many months to create on big version, we will probably port just the game over first, then start redoing artwork, maps and gameplay a piece at a time. We want to release smaller versions more frequently, and that's why 3.1 and the first NS:S version will come relatively quickly.

    We've gotten really excited about some of the new features we could implement on Source, like the Onos charge that sends marine ragdolls flying, aliens bashing down weldable doors, marines arriving to their map start via dropships, etc. Once the loose ends are tied up on 3.0/3.1, we'll get right to work. We've been staffing up in anticipation.
