    [HL2] Heart of the Revolters Released

    Hearts of the Revolters, een objective-based team deathmatch map van MoonQuake van ActionBF fame (een Battlefield 1942 mod), is vandaag zoals beloofd released. MoonQuake is ook zo vriendelijk geweest, om te release te vieren, enkele screenshots te releasen voor ons om naar te kijken.
    You play just like it's a HL2 campaign, but it's online with your buddies! Play as Rebels or Combines; the strategies and objectives are different:
    -Combines objectives:
    1- Reach and unlock the Precinct 15 sector door to gain access to the Rebels area.
    2- Blowup the Rebels weapons truck hidden behind the Rebel HQ to cut-off their heavy armament supplies.
    3- Destroy the Control Room inside the HQ to destroy the whole place.

    -Rebels objectives:
    1- Prevent the Combines from reaching the sector door.
    2- Defend the weapons truck and most importantly the Control Room.
    3- Deliver Alyx, "frozen" and held in the Combines base and bring her back to the HQ to teleport her back to Kleiner's lab.

    Extra noot: Deze map kan alleen gespeeld worden op Team Deathmatch servers (de command hiervoor is "mp_teamplay 1").

    tijd om men steam weer in werking te krijgen. m.a.w. formatteren(niet snel, want dan werkt da maar tijdelijk )

    eerst zekerheid hebben, dat die SATA driver disk nie gebruikt MOET worden, of kgon der schoon voorstaan :\

    -Problematic spawning barrels on the Sector door - fixed!
    -Combines spawning with Rebels weapons sometimes - fixed!
    -Made Alyx's cryogenic cage smaller and easier to carry. (but nonetheless as comfortable for her don't worry...)
    -Park benches can now be thrown!
    -Turrets less agressive but as deadly as before. (can't control their damage)
    -Made HQ front doors easier to enter/exit.
    -Rain ambient sound added. It stops when the rain stops. (like previously planned but ditched for deadline reasons)
    -Removed razortrain for better net performance. (tears)
    -Removed barrels inside HQ.
    -Fixed some cubemaps: outside buildings have better windows reflections.
    -Slightly optimised visual performance in some areas.
    -Changed the location of the ar2 alt ammo. Will you find it?


    Very Important
    --------------------

    1- Use Winzip or Winrar to extract the ZIP. The windows Zip function will give you corrupted files and you will have purple rain or weird objects physics on servers.

    2- A new file was added to the ZIP: obj_mq_revolters.res. This file tells Steam what files you need to run the map properly when you download it from a server. Put this file where you put the map (.BSP) itself. However, I recommend you download the map instead.

    3- Server admins, use "sv_ allowdownload 0" to keep the bandwidth for the players.

    4- Turn OFF Anti-aliasing and Anisotropy for a huge framerate boost.

    ff hl² late downloade(nog altijd ) steam zit weer lekker vol, en dan checken. is ze de moeite? met 2 spelen op zelfgecreate server bolt goed?no lag? leuk?

    De map is zeker de moeite waard om te spelen.

    Je moet wel zien dat je de juiste server eruit kiest (lieft dedicated). Een spelersaantal rond 6-8 is heel goed speelbaar.

    ja, maar ik dacht eerder aan ne zelfgecreate (gene dedicated) of et mogelijk is om met 2 die map te spelen (da is een map met een missie dacht ik he?!)

    maar anderzijds hadk ook al gelezen over dat het ene team de combines zijn, en de andere de 'gordons?!'

    Je kan met twee spelen, maar dan gaat het gevoel van combines vs rebellen verloren (dus niet "gordons" ).
