Spiderman 3: Spidey's enemies news
Sideways star Thomas Haden Church's villainous alter-ego in the new Spider-Man movie has been revealed, if internet gossip is to be believed. The Oscar nominee will play Venom in Spider-Man 3 in 2007, according to the Pressconnects.Com website. Venom won't be the only Spider-Man arch-enemy in the second sequel - Daniel Gillies' John Jameson character will become Manwolf in the film, according to the reports.

Then there was an article in the Binghamton Press Connects about FX guy Tim Pheonix, who is from upstate New York. In the piece it is claimed that Venom and Man-Wolf are the villains this time, and that Timmy is working on designing them. I had seen this over the weekend, but was going to let it go, but now Quint at AICN has picked it up, and he's saying the same things I have heard.
Quint is coming out as saying that Venom will not be in the movie (which is what I hear as well), and I can say that my source at the studio has told me not to bother hitting up the comic store for old Man-Wolf appearances. So who does that leave for the villain? My ornery source won't reveal, but at this point - especially considering some of the stuff Sam Raimi has said in the past - I would think that Church might be getting some sand in his shoes.I am a soldier, I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight.

Help?To Protect and Sever - Baton courtesy, service with a smile!

Of Venom, of Manwolf...To Protect and Sever - Baton courtesy, service with a smile!
