    Naar mijn weten moet er altijd een chip (controler) op displays staan anders zijn ze totaal waardeloos.

    Maar als je (in het geval van die kleine displays aan te sluiten op printerpoort) geen goede controller software hebt, dan ben je ook niks met je schermpje

    Ik heb hier ook nog zo'n LCD schermpke liggen van nen oude Tulip Laptop, nen 486, ook reeds wat internet gezocht, maar is niet zo gemakkelijk.

    Misschien is het mogelijk om de controller van het moederbord te vissen en die samen met het scherm hergebruiken, maar heb dit nog nergens gedaan gezien.

    adaptec heeft een kaart pci die de omvorming kan doen van video signiaal naar een laptop lcd signiaal, zo een kaart kost gemakkelijk 180€ zie pic 1
    en dan heb je nog de omvormer voor de stroom naar 5 volt ook
    afhankelijk van type lcd heb je een type controlkeer nodig

    kben vandaag met 1 hand bezig geweest van nog 3 sets te maken en ik moet zeggen dat ze allemaal gelukt zijn, ik ga er zelf een CIP waar ik lang geleden aan begonnen ben verder beginnen afwerken en er eentje inbouwen

    ben ook een eindje zitten zoeken ivm zo'n projectje... Het is weldegelijk mogelijk!

    Voor oudere TFT's: Je zoekt de pin-out op van de kabels (not shielded, meestal flatcable) en de pin-out van een VESA connector op een oude grafische kaart (ISA,PCI of AGP(waar is den tijd)). Wanneer die matchen, solderen. Softwarematig kun je dan een OSD instellen e.d.
