verschillende mensen hebben wederom een bizarre email gekregen van M$:

Today i received a mysterious picture from microsoft via email. I think it has nothing to do with the content of the mail (about a competition on www.xbox.com/music) and was mentioned at the end of it.

I really don't know what is it about, but there is a red sign on a trashcan. I thought i show it to you cause the xbox-com email today said "Look for the signs, the keepers of the flame."

de image lijkt een link te maken tussen een spel dat nog gaat uitkomen en HALO3 en de ARG:

a few things really stand out to me in that picture.

1. the man coming out of the telephone poll.

2. the man in the car is in focus (shoulden't be because hes technically moving at the same speed as the car, and should be just as out of focus as the rest of the car.

3. the 'z' on the lady's shopping bag

4. the golden topper on the weathervane of the dome in the background seems like its had the ocntrast turned way up.

5. the glyph itself (after this post i'm going to make jpg's of both glyphs we have so far jsut in case we need them later).

6. the globe on the back of the delivery van looks like a face/pangea

Also:
1. The symbols on the trash can could read "alo" as in Halo
2. Maybe we should pay attention to the street no's. They could mean something
3. Maybe we should search for the building in the photo. You can read "Land.." on the door.

After much blood, sweat, tears, and Google-fu, I think I've identified the symbol on the back of the white van.

First, since the email was apparently sent through the German arm of Xbox LIVE, I searched Google for the acronym "TCAF" (it appears on the van) across all German domains. It returned mostly junk, but on the fourth page I got one result for Project Sylpheed, an upcoming title for the Xbox 360.

Using this, I conducted another search for the game title and the original acronym. I verified that TCAF stood for one of the factions in the game -- the Terran Central Armed Forces.

Finally, I looked up videos from the game on YouTube. The second cutscene confirmed what I suspected -- the globe-and-wings logo is the emblem for this in-game faction. Check it out here -- it appears on the electronic screen behind the pilot at about 2:26. Here's a comparison of both symbols for good measure:

Either way, if it is a bird of some kind it definitely has "golden wings."

if you look, the unblurred guy who should be blurry plus the arrows from the street light are all pointing up toward the weathervane..so its def got to be something important

denk niet dat hier iets van aan is, maar toch voor de volledigheid:

not to certain if this is a lead but from what I know you should never leave a stone unturned. around the same time AdjutantReflex came on the scene There was another person in the forum name Metus Gravis who I contacted and after that person said they were 49 metus gravis from installation 03 making him a monitor. On B.net his name was Metus Gravis, and I'm telling you guess cause you have a greater knowledge on how to use the search tools so have at it.

2 bizarre frames in trailer

So I sorted through the entire trailer frame by frame.

99% of all the scrambled Cortana/Gravemind sequence is jibberish and are usually stylized transitions off them speaking, but none of them seem to be of any real thing.

However:

There are 2 frames that are very, very out of place.

Both only last a single frame and are very detailed. AR wanted us to go back to this trailer to look for clues whether it be in the screens, halo3.com or the trailer itself. If anyone can identify these perhaps they are of interest, I however only know that they are extremely out of place. Go ahead and see for yourself if you doubt it.

Halo3 site update
Halo3 site werd volledig aangepast blijkbaar:

Halo3.com has been updated. The main area now shows a series of "locked" servers, demanding user names and passwords for each one. It looks like things have started in earnest now.

It seems that someone named snap017 has logged in as adjutantreflex/Chrysopteron
